Dear Everyone:
This week’s Letter is going to be very short because I am completely exhausted.
The reason? This morning I took the CRM Examination Part Six. (By now everyone should know that CRM stands for Certified Records Manager.)
Parts One through Five are relatively simple multiple-choice questions. Part Six is a two-part essay exam. Part one is worth 60 points and covers a general aspect of Records Management. Part two is worth 40 points (for a total of 100). You are allowed 235 minutes to complete both parts.
You need 70 points to win. Excuse me, to pass and be certified.
We’re not allowed to talk about the specifics but I can say that I think I acquitted myself fairly well on part one. Not so sure about part two.
And after spending nearly four hours leaning forward, squinting at the computer screen, trying to read what you’ve written (for some reason the text box on the screen only displays 5 rows at a time and the font is really small), my back is aching and my brain is fried. So I’m going to bed early for a good night’s rest.
But here’s the good news: I don’t gotta think about it again until January!
Love, as always,
(really tired)
Pete
